Vets 4 Vets is a peer support group encompassing a range of activities and interactions between individuals who share similar experiences of being diagnosed with a mental health condition as well as having lived military experience. The peer support relationship promotes connection, recovery, and inspires hope. By sharing their own lived experience peer support workers help people to develop their own goals, create strategies for self-empowerment, and take concrete steps towards building fulfilling, self determined lives for themselves.
Vets 4 Vets is intended for active duty service members/veterans. Each meeting includes a check in with each member, education, support, and camaraderie. Vets 4 Vets is open, meaning individuals may attend meetings as frequently as they decide. Groups are capped at 10-12 attendees so every individual has the opportunity to engage in the meeting.

Incarcerated Vets Program
At Ease USA’s Incarcerated Veterans Program supports justice-involved veterans by meeting them where they are and walking alongside them on their path to healing. Many first connect through peer support—relationships built on shared experience, trust, and understanding that often serve as the first step toward stability and long-term recovery.
Through peer support groups and one-on-one conversations in Douglas and Sarpy County jails, veterans find encouragement in a non-clinical setting that frequently opens the door to therapy and additional mental health services. At Ease USA also partners with Veterans Treatment Courts, providing peer support and therapy to help veterans address underlying trauma, navigate an alternative path through the justice system, and build the tools and purpose needed for a successful return to the community.
